Salmon With Teriyaki/chilli Sauce

4 servings Source yield

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or peanut oil
  • 1 medium salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup Teriyaki sauce (I used Kikoman)
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce (of any brand)
  • 4 pieces of Green onion ( shallots)

Make it step by step

  1. Heat a medium non-stick pan. Add oil then Salmon fillets. Skin-side down first. Cook until brown on all sides, cooked as preferred.
  2. Remove salmon from the pan and cover to keep warm
  3. Add Teriyaki and sweet chilli sauce in a saucepan, stirring to create a mixture while on small fire. If sauce is too thick, add small amount of warm water (as desired), stir and simmer for another 5 mins before serving.
  4. Place warm salmon to plate, drizzle sauce and sprinkle chopped green onions.
  5. Note: Can be served with any side salads/ stir-fry vegetables or jasmine rice
