Ingredients
- 50 ml rhum agricole blanc
- 10 ml cane syrup, or 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 disc of lime peel with flesh attached, cut from the side of the fruit
- 1 ice cube, optional
Make it step by step
- Put the cane syrup into a short tumbler.
- Cut a disc from the side of a lime, taking the peel and a little flesh but avoiding the bitter core.
- Squeeze the disc over the glass to release its juice and oil, then drop it in.
- Stir the lime and syrup together briefly.
- Pour the rhum over and stir once more.
- Add a single ice cube only if you want it. Serve straight away and expect it to be drunk in a few mouthfuls.
