Ingredients
- 3 Fresh Bartlett pears
- 2 tablespoons Butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Cinnamon flavored apple jelly
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
Make it step by step
- Pare, core and half the peaches; cut each half in thirds lengthwise. Heat butter in a beavy skillet; add pears and cook about 1 to 2 minutes, turning once, until slices are golden and almost tender. (Cover while cooking.)
- Uncover; mix in sugar, lemon juice and jelly. Heat gently, spooning sauce over pears. Cook until tender and glazed, about 5 minutes. Serve warm with topping.
- Note: If you cannot find cinnamon flavored apple jelly, use regular apple jelly and add cinnamon to taste.
