How this tool works
The original calculation uses 0.2 grams of protein and 0.4 grams of carbohydrate per kilogram of body weight, divides by the corresponding block amount, and rounds to whole blocks. Pounds are converted with the original conversion factor.
These are the application’s existing conventions, not a claim that everyone needs a supplement or a specific post-workout meal. Individual nutrition needs vary. A registered dietitian can help interpret the result in the context of your day.
Changing units changes how the entered number is interpreted; it does not convert that number.

First, choose the correct body-weight unit and review what the original formula returns. Next, compare its protein and carbohydrate numbers separately. The post-workout calculator does not measure the length or intensity of a session, and it does not assess the rest of your day’s food.
For that reason, use the result as an example of the historical calculation rather than a universal recovery target. You can explore measured ingredients in the meal builder and read the exercise guide for context. Finally, seek qualified guidance when you need advice that accounts for your own training or medical circumstances.
